The Way of Beauty

This is an ongoing project that explores the innate aesthetic value found in our everyday surroundings, challenging viewers to slow down and disrupt the habits of daily life.

Rooted in the Franciscan philosophical tradition of the via pulchritudinis—the "way of beauty"—this project approaches artistic expression not merely as a pursuit of superficial decoration, but as a path to deeper contemplation. Within the Franciscan tradition every created thing, from mountains to valleys, acts as a "trace" or footprint of God, offering a pathway into contemplation and adoration. This is also reflected within humanist thought where experiencing profound beauty often translates into action, compassion, and a deeper appreciation for the human experience.
